Monica Open Toe Heel
This Spring and Summer I'm determined to step out of my box a little bit more. My goal is to always add a pop of color to my outfit and not be so matchy-matchy.

I received a email from Sole Society today featuring their end of season 33% off sale. I fell in love with these shoes: Monica Open Toe Heel - Strappy sandal with stacked leather heel and back zip closure. 3 1/2 inch heel high and 3/4 platform - Pure comfort! I can see them with a white summer dress or a white tank with some seersucker shorts too! These definitely will add that pop of color I'm looking for. Regular price $49.95, I scored these beauties for $33.47 plus free shipping!

Check out Sole Society and use this code for 20% off http://cb.solesociety.com/x/7k1Hx through 2/28/13

Last weekend I decided to go to the mall. I was only going to exchange a shirt I purchased from Forever 21 a week earlier, but left the mall with so much more! The skirt I was exchanged at Forever 21 was $15.80, I ended up leaving the store with 3 items compared to 1 for ONLY $3 more! Can you say WINNING!!! Then I headed to JCP and found a cute fitting royal blue blazer with cuffed sleeves with white satin and black pinstripes for only $20. I can't wait to wear the blazer with a plain white tee and jeans and statement heels or wedges.

I'm really trying to take the plunge into wearing lipstick. I found a great article on Styleunited.com "The 10 Commandments of Lipstick" and I had to share. Check it out HERE

I've been telling a friend for the past month or so that I want to try lipstick. I'm a lipgloss girl from the heart......My lipgloss is always poppin, BUT it's time to change things up. Step out of the box!

Low and behold I hit up Facebook and a fellow blogger: Lifestyles of the Thrifty and Shameless posted this awesome list of 12 Mac Lipstick Dupes. I had to share with you all :) I think I'm going to look for the dupe to Mac Russian Red and Mac Bubbles first!

Last saturday was a busy one for me: workout, spending time with my Little (BBBS), and then dinner with one of my girls. This is a every weekend thing for me.... I really don't know how to sit my butt down! Well after my workout I knew that I wanted to get CUTE, but I needed something comfortable that could transition from a mid day concert to dinner. I went with this flowy collar shirt and animal print jeggings. I was fashionably FOXXY but so comfortable! Now that's a great weekend outfit. What do you think?
Shirt: Forever 21
Jeggings: Rainbow

Jewelry: Necklace- Forever 21, Bracelet: LithoChic on Etsy

I must say that last night's Grammys fashion was great. Nothing was super over the top, but many fashion statements were made. I had two favs and for two different reasons. Kelly Rowland was definitely my number one. She served up SEXY with a capital S, but kept it classy. The dress looked like it was made just for her body. It showed all her curves - I loved it! She has been flaunting her perfectly toned physique and I want to be like Kelly when I grow up LMBO!

Katy Perry was second in my opinion. The color of the dress had all my attention. I love when someone isn't afraid to stand out. Although I wish she wasn't serving up so much cleavage, the overall fit of the dress was awesome. I didn't know Katy had curves like that LOL! The detail around the neckline was FIYAH!!!! The black hair and flowy waves brought the outfit to the top for me.

Honorable mention: Miranda Lambert.....Her curves were really fitting that dress!
