Last saturday was a busy one for me: workout, spending time with my Little (BBBS), and then dinner with one of my girls. This is a every weekend thing for me.... I really don't know how to sit my butt down! Well after my workout I knew that I wanted to get CUTE, but I needed something comfortable that could transition from a mid day concert to dinner. I went with this flowy collar shirt and animal print jeggings. I was fashionably FOXXY but so comfortable! Now that's a great weekend outfit. What do you think?

I must say that last night's Grammys fashion was great. Nothing was super over the top, but many fashion statements were made. I had two favs and for two different reasons. Kelly Rowland was definitely my number one. She served up SEXY with a capital S, but kept it classy. The dress looked like it was made just for her body. It showed all her curves - I loved it! She has been flaunting her perfectly toned physique and I want to be like Kelly when I grow up LMBO!

Katy Perry was second in my opinion. The color of the dress had all my attention. I love when someone isn't afraid to stand out. Although I wish she wasn't serving up so much cleavage, the overall fit of the dress was awesome. I didn't know Katy had curves like that LOL! The detail around the neckline was FIYAH!!!! The black hair and flowy waves brought the outfit to the top for me.

My Best Dressed for the 2013 SAG Award is without a doubt..........
Ms. Kerry Washington! She looked like pure elegance in this gown by Rodarte. The color was radiant on her skin tone. The dress was different but in a great way. The detail on the bodice added dimension to her slim silhouette. The flowy bottom was soooo cute and perfect. She kept her jewelry simple; Great choice in earrings but I would have loved to see a statement or simple bracelet for added flair. Her hair was PERFECT; A simple chignon with a side bang to keep the focus on her dress. Ms. Pope (SCANDAL).....I mean Ms. Washington was flawlessly beautiful!

Who was your best dressed?

These two ladies are definitely honorable mentions........My favorite color is blue and it POPPED on that red carpet! Loved the use of ruffles in both dresses.
Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen and Giuliana Rancic in Max Azria.
My worst dressed vote is shared by two: Shaun Robinson and Nancy O'Dell.......HATED IT!

Over the weekend I decided to take my workout to the streets. I figured why not window shop while I get my walk on! I've had a DSW gift card since June and decided it was finally time to go take a look. Well after looking through all the shoes (regular and clearance), as I proceed to walk out the door I spotted these mint colored heels by Mix No 6 Briel in Mint. Mint is definitely the color for spring, so of course I had to add these to my closet.......Getting ready for spring a little early!

The cute 2 3/4 inch heel, patent leather, and round metallic silver cap toe.......I'm ready to ROCK these now! They are ultra feminine and I can see them with a flowing flower dress in the spring.

Spring ready,

Florida weather is throwing me for a loop this winter...70 degrees one day and 40 degrees the next. I hate for my legs to be cold so when the temperature drops tights are a MUST!

On this day I wanted to wear a pair of gold colored tights bought from Forever 21 in the fall, but wasn't too sure of how to pull them off. So I decided to pair it with animal print. and use my accesories to tie in all the colors. What do you think?

Everyone has a piece in their closet that you love to wear, but sometimes you're not in the mood to get all dolled up. Well here's a perfect solution - Always know that you can take that special piece and dress it up or down. I LOVE this shirt and when I purchased it I knew that I would dress it up.....add some heels. BUT one day I wanted to wear it, tamed a bit with skinny jeans and boots. With different hair and accessories I made both outfits cute and they match how I felt on both days.

Do you like? What's your favorite piece to dress up or down?

Am I the only person that still orders from Danbury Mint? If I am then I just am because in this case, nothing beats this nice piece of history! Today I got my invitation to purchase the Danbury Mint exclusive porcelain collector doll of our beautiful FLOTUS Michelle Obama at the Inaugural Ball. I watched inauguration coverage all day, patiently waiting to get a glimse of "The" dress. I think Mrs. Obama was stunning in the red; She is a woman that knows how to put her stamp on any dress and make it all her own.

I'm placing my order and it has a spot waiting at my house next to the porcelain doll wearing the inaugural dress of 2009! If you're interested in ordering one, check out Danbury Mint's website.
