I love me some La La Anthony! I think she has so much style and class and her body is on POINT - she gives me a physique to strive for! Watching her show "La La Full Court Life" on VH1 a few weeks ago she debuted her new clothing line with her stylist/friend Jason Bolden called 5th & Mercer.
I was eladed today to see her post links on Facebook to check out the line. Here are two of my fav pieces the Two Tone Pants and the Pencil Skirt. I'll definitely be placing a order when I reach my fitness goal. Prices starting at $75. Check out the line at Shopbop.com HERE
I LOVE COLOR! The best thing in the world of fashion to aid in my love of color is Colorblocking. I'm a MASTER Color-blocka LMBO! This outfit was simple and easy. Very easy to transition from work to play with the added denim vest. This pencil skirt shows all my hard legwork in the gym - those thighs and legs are looking GOOD! My Havana Twist updo added a little more fun to the outfit!
Denim vest: Rainbow
Skirt: Forever 21
Work clothes should be far from BORING! Being fashion-forward is the goal while keeping it classy and professional. The whimisical floral design of my pants gave this outfit that extra pop! Not only were they cute but larger in the waist and tighter in the Gluteus maximus (Thanks squat challenge LMBO!) My new Stella and Dot necklace was staring me in the face this morning, so I had to incorporate it. This shirt was a great canvas (Scored at JCP for only $4) for the necklace that was the perfect compliment to this fun outfit!
Pants: Forever 21
Necklace: Stella & Dot Lillith Fringe Necklace
Lipstick: RiRi Woo by MAC
Sometimes I wake up and I want to wear something BRIGHT! Today was one of those days. Colorful and cute is Foxxy's motto, so I fully embraced it today!
Shirt Dress: The Limited
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
I HEART some denim! I think denim is the perfect fabric for life, forget cotton LOL! When I saw this dress I just had to have it.....Fun. Flirty, and DENIM!!!!

Lately I've been KICKIN IT! June is my birthday month and no matter what I have to start it out right! So I wanted to share some pics with you from my latest adventures to include fun and fashion.....a little love too! I attended the Kings of the Mic Tour featuring De La Soul, Public Enemy, Ice Cube, and LL Cool with my girls Jocelyn and Marilyn. One of the best concerts I've attended in my life - SERIOUSLY!
Enjoy the Foxxy Life,
Last saturday I was privileged to host a jewelry party at my home for my friend Shanae'. Shanae' a new stylist with the accessory company Stella & Dot. This was her first party and she came prepared to show beautiful pieces while explaining how Stella & Dot could accent your wardrobe. I just love jewelry parties because you're able to touch the pieces and try them on. The beautifully made, fashionable jewelry was a sight to see and Shanae did a great job giving us the royal treatment! The gathering went from a jewelry party, to a natural curly girl convention (all the attendee were NATURALISTAS), to a empowering ladies entrepreneur brainstorming session. We even had my friend Mary in the building with Mary Kary samples and information.
It's not to late to place a order. My show is open until June 20th. You can shop using this link http://www.stelladot.com/ts/63pp5
My friend Yalanda just started a photography business named Essential Focus photography and was nice enough to ask me to pose as her subject for some pictures. The pictures would be to expand her portfolio and as much as I love taking pictures I HAD to help her out! She asked me if I had a location in mind and my first thought was Treaty Oak Park. Treaty Oak Park is in downtown Jacksonville described by www.jaxfountain.com as:
"Located on Prudential Drive, just blocks from "Friendship Fountain". Treaty Oak Park, as it's popularly known, is the park that surrounds "Treaty Oak". A magnificent specimen of "Quercus Virginiana", or Live Oak. Treaty Oak is over two centuries old and its trunk is over 25 feet in circumference. Treaty Oak is 70 foot tall and is also known as "Jacksonville's Favorite Oak". She also suggested that we visit The Friendship Fountain for pictures as well. Both places are historical landmarks of Jacksonville and the perfect background. For more information on both The Friendship Fountain and Treaty Oak Park click HERE
I just had to share a few of the photos with you. If you are in the Jacksonville area and looking for an awesome, talented, spirit-filled photographer please reach out to Yalanda of Essential Focus Photography at 954-632-0832.
